“Another brick in the wall” hehe, update on the canvas in progress

Buildings: Check. Flowers: Check.
Awesome shiny texture: Check check.

(Sorry for the shiny spot on the pictures, its been cloudy and I can’t get enough good lighting to not use flash on my camera)

I am loving my golden liquid acrylics!! I think the top part with the buildings is done. I love how it turned out 🙂 The half circle on the bottom left will (hopefully) be over flowing with pretty flowers shortly, just as soon as I figure out how I want to draw them. I’m thinking vines with flowers maybe, cascading across the bottom of the paint…But haven’t figured out quite how I want to do that yet. And to top it off, some pics of me showing the cat the finished building I had just painted:

Do I look impressed?

At least the blog was aptly named…lol.

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great day!

About kittyisnotamused

I am an eclectic crafter whose hobbies currently include knitting, crochet, making journals, cooking, and quilting, although I have also been addicted to jewelry making, scrapbooking, sewing, and many others. My passion for creating runs a wide gamut and jumps back and forth from new hobbies to old often. I live with my hubby and our 3 pets: 1 grown puppy with the attention span of a goldfish, and 2 lazy chubby kitties. Kitties who, despite my best efforts to gain their enthusiasm, show no interest in what I'm working on except to lay on whatever it is occasionally. The hubby's reactions are better, which is why he gets many handmade items and the kitties only a few, but his reactions are usually confused smiles and nods with "thats great sweety!" The dog shows the most enthusiasm but mostly that translates into her trying to snot and eat whatever I am showing to her... I suppose thats just life tho :) Thanks for stopping in, feel free to leave a comment!

    • Thanks so much! I hadn’t intended on it looking like bricks when I started but I like it 🙂 Someone else suggested I call it “another brick in the wall” and it made me laugh so I did. Thanks for stopping by!
